The North American Pet Pig Association (NAPPA) was founded in 1989, is dedicated to providing education to enable pet pigs to have the highest quality of life possible. This mission aligns with the mission of the North West Miniature Pig Association to promote responsible pet pig ownership by providing information on the health /care and training of miniature pet pigs. Patty Hill of North West Miniature Pig Association states: After losing our oldest Vietnamese potbellied pig, Burnie at the age of 16 it became clear that Lucas found his home, and he was here to stay. Lucas was born Jan. 15, 2019. He is a rescue, mixed breed of 3 different small breeds. He is very smart and has learned more tricks than Burnie because John Vincent of "Top Hogs" has been working with me on the correct way to train. Lucas knows many tricks.
